Period: check to see if it smells. Vaginal discharge with mucous can be normal but not if it smells badly. Sometimes mucous can be a sign of ovulation or pregnancy. If it persists you should have a good pelvic exam. It is unlikely you are pregnant but a home pregnancy should be done.
