OK to take both: Neither drug will interfere with the other or cause increased side effects. Assuming your herpes outbreak is genital, not oral, make sure your UTI symptoms weren't actually the onset of the herpes oubreak. If any doubt about the UTI diagnsois, maybe check with your doctor whether both drugs are necessary.
