Can a yeast infection cause oral thrush in the same person? would oral thrush go away if the vaginal yeast infection is treated?

Depends: It depends on the treatment rx'd. But usually, oral thrush needs to be treated "orally" of course where vaginal yeast infections may be treated with oral medications as well as vaginal creams.
