11 months watery eyes, runny nose, mild cough and rectal temp. up to 40. this z been happn 4 1 month on and off. doc says its viral. is it viral infc.

Workup: A rectal temp of 40 C is unlikely to be due to an allergic reaction, but some of your other symptoms could be related to an allergic reaction. . The fever should be further evaluated, and a physical exam to diagnose a cause of the fevers, along with testing should be performed.
