No, not affected: Pregnancy and delivery does not usually cause periods to become irregular. It may be more than a month after delivery before a woman starts having menstrual periods, especially if she is breastfeeding. Breastfeeding may cause irregular periods, but otherwise once her periods start again, the menstrual cycle is usually similar or the same as it was prior to pregnancy.
