Yes: that is not unusual if a person ingests a lot more fiber than usual all at once. This is why when we advocate increasing fiber that we recommend that people start slowly and build it up. There is much less bloating and gas if you follow that schedule. When your stools are back to normal, start adding in a small amount of fiber each day, and then gradually build it up. Good luck.
