A member asked:

If i take cranberry azo shorty after i took plan b , is it possible for the azo to decrease the effectiveness or flush out the plan b?

No: AZO will not interfere with the effectiveness of AZO which is good for treating the symptoms of a UTI but does not treat the infection. If you think u might have a UTI you need to be seen for a urinalysis and possibly antibiotics. That would also be a good time to discuss a more reliable method of contraception. Hope this helps. Good luck.

No: There is no interaction between these medications. AZO cranberry does not decrease the effectiveness or “flush out” Plan B.
