No period: I think you mean perimenopausal and no you probably aren't perimenopausal. Premenopausal is the time from your early teens until the perimenopause. It's more likely you didn't ovulate for a cycle, which happens occasionally even though most women claim to have perfect period timing. Thyroid issues can cause this also as can weight changes. See a GYN for a work up.

Not likely.: Unless you have a family history of "premature ovarian failure", it's unlikely that you are premenopausal at age 32. Obviously your reproductive hormones are out of sync, however, and it makes sense to see your gyno since this has been going on for 3 months now. A physical exam, blood tests and possibly ultrasound should determine what's going on.
