Phenylephedrine deco: Phenylephrine 10 mg oral tablet: 10 mg orally every 4 to 6 hours not to exceed 4 doses daily. It is a decongestant that can cause blood pressure elevation. Can take up to a TOTAL of 40 mg in a 24 hour period. 20 mg at one time is safe as long as stay within the total dosage and there are no high blood pressure issues.
