ER: It may well be a severe case of gastroenteritis, but that is a very high fever, and a tight stomach could be a sign of an acute abdomen from such things as appendicitis. At the very least, he can be hydrated, assessed, and an anti-emetic given and prescribed for the unremitting vomiting.
