A member asked:

My daughter,10 months old.want to know why period pains are more severe than before i got pregnant.and is there anything i can do to lighter the pain.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Naproxen: I am sorry to hear about the period pains. Regarding the period pains you could try tylenol (acetaminophen) 350mg every 4 hrs as needed. Instead of tylenol (acetaminophen) you could also try Naproxen 220 mg every 4 hrs as needed. Menstrual cramps and pain can get worse from time to time perhaps more after a pregnancy. But if the Pain happens every month during menstruation and is much much worse, then see your physician.
