No: there are a lot of viruses that can cause myocarditis or the inflammation of the outer muscles of the heart. Usually these are some unusual viruses. Stomach virus or stomach fluid a group of viruses that usually does not give rise to myocarditis. Thank you.

Yes: Myocarditis is an inflammatory disease of the myocardium. Viral infections like enteroviruses, adenoviruses, parvovirus B19, hepatitis C, herpes virus 6, Lyme disease including other conditions can cause myocarditis.
