Been on the same bc pill for over a year and a half. is it normal to randomly still have symptoms from the pill one month but not the other?

Possibly: Without knowing what specific symptoms you are referring to it is hard to say. One option would be to change birth control methods -- an IUD for example. You could see if your symptoms resolve. The symptoms could also be unrelated to your birth control.

Yes: These symptoms can be affected by small changes in many things, e.g. when you take the pill, your diet, other medications, stress. Also different batches of the pill can have small variations in the active ingredients that you may be particularly sensitive to.
