Depends what you: mean by superficial wound. If it's a laceration that's superficial or skin abrasion on your lower lid, the antibiotic ointment will prevent it from getting water on it. Superficial abrasions heal quickly. Would not worry about it. Deep lacerations are the more serious to worry about.
