A member asked:

Have you ever heard of a skin condition appearing 4 months after a depo-provera injection but at the injection site? it is pink and the skin feels "thinner"

Its possible: I admit that I have never seen nor heard of this type of delayed skin reaction to Depo-Provera injection, and I have been prescribing Depo-Provera and following patients using it for many years. Having said that, if this skin change is at the site of the injection, it is definitely possible and even likely that it is a reaction to the depo. I would like to learn more about this reaction.
