A member asked:

My period has been coming every other month since i first got it about 7 years ago accompanied by severe cramps each time. should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps: Menstrual periods should occur about every 21-35 days for adults and about 21-45 for teens. Every other month at 60 days is longer than normal. You could visit your doctor and he/she could do a full history, physical, and any lab tests.
