Not really...: Ususally there's no lymph node swelling or systemic symptoms ("feel drained") in recurrent oral herpes (fever blister, cold sore). But outbreaks often are triggered by infections that cause these symptoms. Probably that's what's going on. A brand new herpes infection could do this, but unlikely with only a single sore and no new exposure. See doctor if symptoms severe or last more than 3-4 days.
