I have been on birth control for 7 years & never got my period early and suddenly it started. week and a half early & its heavy should i be worried?

Early Period: it is not unusual to get your period early even when on birth control. If you missed it took pills at different times this could happen. Additionally other factors in your life could cause this. If this only happens 1 or 2 times it is not a worry. If it happens more then you should be evaluated.

Possible infection: Breakthrough bleeding on pills is most often caused by missing pills or taking them late but it can also be a symptom of an infection or abnormal cells on the cervix. Be safe. See your doctor ASAP.
