Likely normal: If the bump is semi-soft and mobile (you can roll it around0, and not changing in size it is very likely to be a normal (or mildly reactive) postauricular lymph node. Consult your doctor if it is getting larger and/or painful.

One of many things : A pea sized bump behind the ear coukd be many things. Common causes are small reactive lymph nodes. They can enlarge and resolve. Observation is appropriate it could be a skin cyst which is treated by excision. Similarly it could be a lipoma. It could b a bony prominence from your skull. If t persists, ask your physician to ate a look.
