Family practice : It is probably related to your new birth control. If sexually active you need to use a barrier method of birth control as well for awhile until your body gets use to them. Make sure you are not pregnant. Your birth control may need to be changed if it continues.

It is related to BCP: You should have started your first pill cycle the first sunday after the start of your "period". Then restart the next pack on the 29th day from that first pill. If your bc pills are low dose, your body may think it is still time to bleed even will on them because the level is too low to totally change from losing the lining to rebuilding a new one. Usually okay after 3-4 cycles even on same 1.
