Recovery: Bleeding after 15 months of amenorrhea (no bleeding) following a Novasure procedure can indicate that the endometrium recovered in parts of the uterus. Depending on the woman's age malignancy needs to be considered.

Your period...: Novasure doesn't stop bleeding completely in all women. Sometimes it just reduces the amount of bleeding. 25% of women will have a resumption of heavy bleeding after Novasure and require more invasive surgery (such as a hysterectomy). Its not uncommon to begin having a light period or cyclic spotting. Its still a good outcome. Best wishes

Not always none: Slightly less than 40% of women experience total absence of menstrual cycles after Novasure ablation although over 90% are satisfied with the long term results. Track your bleeding over the next 6-9 months to establish your pattern and if you are not satisfied discuss your options with your Obgyn.
