Trazadone: can be used long term. Flexeril can be used short term. (the latter can cause cognitive impairment and depression) Both can be used together (I usually limit this to 3 weeks) Other antispasmodics can be used long term (Norflex, Robaxin, (methocarbamol) Skelaxin) without major issues

Check with MD/ Pharm: 30 year old female asks if it is safe to take Trazodone for Insomnia and Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) for Muscle pain. Combination could have unpleasant side effects. Best to talk with one's M.D or Pharmacist.
