Maybe: It depends on when you took it (how many days since your period should have started), how you did it (did you follow the instructions exactly?), what kind of test (different brands of tests have different instructions, accuracy). Also check the expiration date on the test. Other causes of false negatives are possible. Repeat the test in a week, or see doctor to find out what's going on.
