Get re-evaluated: See a Primary Care provider and explain your symptoms to them. Depending on the location of the injury they may order additional imaging tests to get more information. Don't just treat the pain with narcotics after 6 years of pain. If that's all they offer get a referral to an interventional pain specialist who may have more longer-term solutions rather than just more opioid pain pills.
