Midcycle bleeding: Your age is not mentioned, but mid-cycle bleeding can occur with ovulation either in one's thirties and older, or with a "double ovulation". The extra level of estrogen drops just prior to ovulation and can cause withdrawal bleeding, which turns dark brown because ot the time it takes to become visible. See your healthcare provider for testing if the bleeding continues.
