Painful Ovulation: 27 year old female whose period ended 8 days ago, has sore and heavy feeling breasts plus back pain; had sex before and after period. Probably not pregnant because she is just now experiencing the symptoms of Ovulation, mid month of her cycle sometimes called Mittelschmerz, German word for 'Middle-Pain'. Painful Ovulation occurs in about 20% of women who menstruate.
