What criteria constitute an eating disorder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Varies: There are several eating disorders and each has its own criteria. In general, if you are eating in a manner that is deleterious to your health you have an eating disorder. This includes, but is not limited to, not eating, causing vomiting, using laxatives, over eating, binge eating, or eating in a way that causes poor nutrition.
