will your body drown from the inside if you drink too much water?

Not normally...: If you have normal heart and kidney function, the heart will pump the water to the kidneys and then the kidneys will eliminate any water that is not needed. Drowning means the airways are filling up with fluid and this would not occur by drinking excess fluid if the heart and kidneys are working normally.

No: Drowning occurs when water enters the lungs and is not related to how much you drink. Drinking too much water can however, result in other problems.
