One: "Strep throat": Bacteria cause many diseases in humans. Some include: strep throat, gonorrhea, some forms of meningitis, some forms of pneumonia, and staph infections of the skin. Most bacterial infections are treated effectively by antibiotics, but antibiotics must be tailored to the specific infection and taken as prescribed in order to help guarantee that the drugs will work. Hope that this helps.
