Neither: Neither one causes bloating or weight gain. Adenomyosis however (not endo) can make a woman's uterus enlarge so that , like fibroids, the uterus can be seen above the pelvis. Good wishes.

Common influence: Endometriosis and adenomyosis do not cause bloating and weight gain but the hormones that stimulate them do. The progesterone of the 2nd half of the menstrual cycle causes these changes coincidentally. We already feel yucky during this time but to add the discomfort of endometriosis on top of all this hardly seems fair. If you are not TTC, then OCPs for cycle control may help.
