Is a hpt 30 days after lmp reliable? and 20 days since sex. don't know when next period is.

See below: A positive test is reliable. A negative test may bear repeating in a week or so. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. In general, a negative result 20 days after sex make pregnancy unlikely.
