Can i drink alcohol while taking prednisone 5 mg? i don't take any other rx meds and it's a 6 day rx for prednisone, started today. no stomach issues.

Possibly: There should be no adverse interactions between alcohol and Prednisone. However, I do not know the condition for which you are taking it. I do wonder why you cannot wait six days to consume alcohol.

Yes: The major interaction between prednisone and alcohol is they both can cause stomach upset. If no history of stomach problems then I would consider it safe. More than 2 drinks in one day or 7 per week is problematic for women.
