Depression: can be due to an inherited medical condition (Major Depression / Bipolar I / Bipolar II for example) or may be a normal response to a depressing set of circumstances (situational depression) Certain medications, drugs and alcohol can precipitate, exacerbate or cause depression. Brain injury and illness may have depression in some form as a consequence. Read about depression. Its fairly common.
