Should be tested: If you are not having periods and you know you are not pregnant now then you should schedule a visit to discuss this. There are a lot of different things that can cause a woman not to have periods. It is important to figure out why this is happening. Pcos is a common cause so you may want to ask about this.

Irregular periods: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ; hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test . There are many options available to help regulate.
