Possible irritation: You may just have irritation from the mechanical aspect of friction. If the burning continues, or if you start with discharge, plevic pain or fever, see your doc as infection is still a possibility.

Burning urine: Have your partner see a doctor, have a urine culture sent off and have her placed on antibiotics to treat what sounds to be a urinary tract infection.
