If still negative, you may see your doctor, as the second most common cause of missed period after pregnancy is anovulation. He may start you on pills that will "jump start" a period for you. If you don't do so and indeed dealing with anovulation, it will start on its own, yet the bleeding will be.

No: Seeing a doctor sooner is better than waiting for later. If pregnant, early prenatal care is better for your baby as prenatal vitamins can be started that much sooner. If desired, one can do a home pregnancy test prior to that appointment.
