2: It is safe to leave your baby with a sitter when the baby is a few weeks old. You should leave instructions and emergency contacts for his/her care. It may be helpful to take a short break the first time.

Depends on sitter: There isn't a certain age, but i would make sure your sitter is comfortable with children your child's age. It is usually hardest to leave babies ages 6-9 months old with someone else since that is when stranger anxiety is the highest, but it is important that they learn you will leave them with someone safe and you will always come back!
