Im taking 10mg of prozac (fluoxetine). what are the side effects of this? i've been on it for 6 days and now i feel like i have the flu. is this normal?

Possible sideeffects: Fluoxetine - an ssri medication - can sometimes within the 1st few days cause you to have headache, nausea, muscle tension/aches, loss of appetite and a feeling of warmth. Most of those will diminish and disappear on their own; sometimes, you will need to take Aspirin or Acetaminophen for headache or an antacid or histamine-blocker for nausea. You should also discuss this w/ the md who prescribed.
