Depends: Depends upon why you're taking it and which route of administration. Different people have different severities of di, and some people are more resistant to DDAVP (desmopressin) than others. Metered-dose inhaler is 1-2 sprays into the nose twice a day. Oral dose for mild disease is one tablet at bedtime. Iv dose (as in icu) is 0.5-1.0 mcg daily in two divided doses. Check with prescribing doctor.
