You may have to do other sexual activities while this is healing. I would use pain as the guide on when it is safe to resume intercourse with penetration. If this does not improve rapidly your gynecologist of family doctor should take a look.

His tear or hours: Does the tear involve his penis or your genitalia. Either one should be watched closely and examined by your doctor if it doesn't heal in just a few days. Or gets red, swollen or looks infected.
