No: In preparing homeopathic remedies, materials must sometimes be dissolved in water or alcohol to begin the process. This is mechanical only, and is no longer present in the dry dose. In liquid remedies, there may be a miniscule amount of alcohol (not wine) as a preservative, not an intoxicant. http://www.wholehealthnow.com/homeopathy_info/hahnemann_labs_preparation.html.
