Infection: Most likely a yeast (fungal) infection. Try an anti-fungal agent over the counter specifically for vaginal infection. If you don't improve, see your healthcare provider as some infections of the vagina may be sexually transmitted and require specific therapy.

Possibly yeast: Could be a yeast infection but vaginal Itching can be caused by a lot of conditions, such as other infections, a reaction to soaps or perfumed products, skin problems, to mention only a few .. there's a long list. So, if you have a itchy vagina, esp if it doesn't get better with anti-fungal cream, you should see your doctor to find out the cause. Good luck!
