Menses and Fertility: Yes. If the period is on time and of normal length then there is good evidence that she may be the least fertile and that unprotected sexual intercourse may not lead to pregnancy.

Yes,but: Although low risk, pregnancy is possible after unprotected intercourse on any day, menses or not.
