Screen: Beck or hamilton depression & anxiety scales are reliable. Also, zung depression scale. However, there is no better option than face to face interview eith a mental health professional.

Different scales for depression, anxiety, bipolar, psychosis can be used. Also, tests like mmpi, mcmi help differentiate axis 1 and axis 2 with certain validity levels.
