3 things: Scapulothoracic pain can be multifactorial. However, most commonly it is secondary to a muscle strain and or bursitis. I would do three things: 1, stretch by grasping a door frame and sustain a pull to the scapular region sevral times a day, 2. Heat several times a day and 3. Put a tennis ball in a sock, throw it over your shoulder and massage the area using a wall for pressure.
