Possible: Unprotected sex with a fertile male is overwhelmingly the most common cause of pregnancy. If you don't want to become pregnant, use some form of contraception. It's not rocket science.

Yes: Sperm must be present in the fallopian tube for conception to occur. As such, sperm must be present prior to ovulation so that they have time to make the trip up into the tubes. Typically, the fertile times for women are 4 days prior to, the day of, and the day after ovulation.
