Need to see your doc: Any anal lesions need to be evaluated by a professional by clinical exam, endoscopy and biopsy to make sure it is not a anal carcinoma , early detection saves the person, delay is not an alternative please see your doctor before your own conclusions. Younger age group also need evaluation most likely benign condition.

Pin the answer : Many with pinworms don’t have any symptoms. When symptoms are present, the most common is itching around the anus. Itching happens often at night & can interfere with sleep. Some severe cases might also have belly pain, nausea, & vomiting. The "pea-sized" ball sounds like an hemorrhoids. Take stool softners (colace) & see your dr if not getting better. Pinworms are treated with one pill x1.
