Scarlet fever: The symptoms may start 1-7 days after exposure if you were going to catch the infection (incubation period) from the time of infection the symptoms may take 2-5 days to develop.

Scarlet Fever: Scarlet fever follows a bacterial infection of the throat from the bacterium, streptococcus progenies. Likely, anyone exposed will not get scarlet fever also. But, if you develop sore throat or fevers within 72-hours of exposure, go see your doctor.
