Essure: This is the least invasive. Is it the best? I don't know. Lupus is not relevant to the question as far as i know.

Essure, but: Lupus meds maybe immunosuppressants that will decrease the success rate of the essure "taking". Essure requires an immune reaction to seal the tubes.

Essure: Essure is non-surgical permanent birth control procedure performed through vagina and therefore less invasive than laparascopic surgery. Procedure takes 15-30 minutes. Patients have little/no recovery time and return to normal activities immediately. Need another form of birth control for 3 months until essure closes tubes completely. Requires patient to have f/u hsg to confirm tubal occlusion.
