Should be seen: Your primary care physician should see this and perhaps a neurologist may need to check you out. My first concern is to rule out multiple sclerosis, or detect it in time for treatment. Another concern is huntingon's and i know there are dozens of additional possibilities.

Why do I keep: If this happens mostly at night , you might have a restless leg syndrome, lack of minerals such as magnesium. A compression of the nerva can give the same symptoms. Best to see a neurologist.
